On May 6, we welcome Claire Hughes Johnson to Duna Conversations for a dialogue on scaling technology and teams in complex, regulated environments.

Claire is one of the most respected operators in tech. As Stripe’s COO from 2014 to 2021, she scaled the company from 200 to over 6,000 employees, built its international footprint across 50+ markets, and led key parts of its foundational infrastructure.

Before Stripe, she spent over a decade at Google, launching and scaling products like AdWords, Gmail, and Google Apps for Business. She now serves on the boards of HubSpot and The Atlantic, and is the author of Scaling People — a modern playbook for building high-performing companies.

In conversation with our co-founder Duco van Lanschot, Claire will share reflections from Stripe, lessons on leadership, and why business identity remains mission-critical. They will also discuss the importance of company culture and transparency, and what it takes to build a generational company.

Recording will be published shortly.
